Snapshots during CBMS Data Presentation from various municipalities within the region.
08 August 2025 – TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office II (PSA RSSO II) successfully completed its 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (preliminary results) data presentations to all 93 municipalities in the Cagayan Valley Region as of 08 August 2025.
The milestone was sealed with the presentation and review held in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, marking the conclusion of a comprehensive series of data presentation to ensure that every local government unit in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino reviewed their 2024 CBMS data before its formal turnover to them. The 2024 CBMS results will serve as vital tools for evidence-based planning, resource allocation, and policymaking.
This achievement makes the region one of the first two regions nationwide—alongside Region XI—to attain a 100% completion rate in 2024 CBMS data presentations.
OIC-Regional Director Girme M. Bayucan extended his heartfelt thanks to the provincial offices and all staff who made this feat possible:
“Congratulations to our provincial offices and all staff for this outstanding achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork have ensured that LGUs in Region II have timely, accurate, and comprehensive data to guide their local development initiatives.”
This triumph solidifies the region’s place in the country’s drive for data-driven governance—empowering communities, guiding leaders, and shaping a better future for all Filipinos.
