08 August 2025 – CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office II (PSA-RSSO II) awarded a plaque of recognition to the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Quirino being the first PSO in the region to complete the Data Turnover Ceremony on 08 August in acknowledgment of its initiative and support for the implementation of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (2024 CBMS).
Their dedication and hard work in pioneering the initiative underscore the office's commitment and proactive stance on data-driven governance and inclusive development.
The Data Turnover Ceremony (DTC) in the province was held individually, as per the preference of the Local Government Units (LGUs) to provide a more focused and participative venue for presenting the CBMS results to their local officials and stakeholders.
The recognition was awarded by Ms. Ma. Juvy S. Agbayani, Senior Statistical Specialist (SrSS), on behalf of the Officer-in-Charge of RSSO II, Engr. Girme M. Bayucan, during the Data Turnover Ceremony (DTC) of Cabarroguis, Quirino, the last municipality to have its ceremony in the province. The awarding was witnessed by the Municipality Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC), Ms. Leonila Aure, EnP; Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR), Engr. Wilmer Dollaga; Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR), Mr. Kris Ian Dela Cruz; OIC-Provincial Director of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Quirino, Ms. Karen Joy C. Pablico, CESE and other DILG Personnel; and members of the CBMS Coordinating Board of LGU Cabarroguis.
