Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Statistical Office conducted a week-long mobile registration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bambang and Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya on 02-06 June 2025. 

In an effort to register the remaining unregistered individuals—especially senior citizens—from both LGUs of Bambang and Dupax del Sur, the National ID team, together with the LGUs’ Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), conducted a mobile registration and provided National ID services to the elderly residents of the municipalities. The mobile registration was held during the payout of the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SPISC).

This activity aligns with the ongoing initiative of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to encourage individuals, particularly beneficiaries of social programs, to register for the National ID system. In addition to National ID registration, other services were also offered, such as updating of demographic information, replacement of National IDs with peeled-off photos, Transaction Reference Number (TRN) retrieval, TRN status tracking and issuance of National IDs in paper form.

This initiative exhibited the PSO’s commitment to making the National ID System accessible, especially for senior citizens. By helping them register, the PSO ensures they can easily access government services, healthcare, and support programs, empowering them through the National ID. A total of 378 individuals registered to the National ID System and 34 availed of the updating service during the conduct of the mobile registration activities.
