In collaboration with the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office (MCRO) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), the partnership aims to bring National ID registration services closer to the residents of Kasibu, particularly those in remote and underserved barangays. This effort is part of the PSO’s ongoing commitment to ensure inclusive access to the National ID System, especially for individuals with limited mobility such as senior citizens and residents of geographically isolated areas.
The mobile registration activity covered several barangays within the municipality on the following dates:
June 02, 2025 – Barangay Papaya
June 03, 2025 – Barangay Biyoy
June 04, 2025 – Barangay Biyoy and Barangay Pacquet
June 05, 2025 – Barangay Pacquet and Barangay Didipio
June 09, 2025 – Barangay Wangal
June 11, 2025 – Barangay Alloy
The partnership between PSO and LGU Kasibu highlights the importance of working together to make government services more accessible to the public. A total of 486 individuals were registered and 26 availed of the updating of demographic information service during the conduct of the activities. PSO urges all residents who have not yet registered for the National ID to participate in upcoming mobile registration activities to help ensure that everyone is included in the program. PSO continues to encourage individuals to register, especially those who are beneficiaries of social pension programs.
