PSO Cagayan Goes Green for Aggao
20 JUNE 2025 – SOLANA, CAGAYAN. In celebration of the 442nd Aggao nac Cagayan and in support to the “I Love Cagayan River Movement” Program, the Philippine Statistics Authority - Cagayan Provincial Statistical Office (PSO Cagayan) fulfilled its environmental responsibility and community engagement by participating in the province-led Tree Growing Activity organized by the Provincial Government of Cagayan (PGC) through the Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Office (PNREO).
A total of 400 seedlings were planted during the environmental activity held on 20 June at Basi East, Solana, Cagayan, which commenced at 5:00 AM. The seedlings included 300 bamboo propagules, 50 forest trees, and 50 fruit-bearing trees.
PSO Cagayan’s participation in the tree growing activity reflects its steadfast dedication to excellence—not only in delivering relevant and innovative statistical services but also in supporting sustainable and environmentally responsible initiatives that contribute to the long-term well-being of the province.
