PSA Cagayan Joins the Nation in Celebrating the 127th 

Philippine Independence Day at Rizal Park

12 June 2025, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan — In a heartfelt display of patriotism and unity, the Province of Cagayan commemorated the 127th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 2025, through a solemn flag-raising ceremony held at Rizal Park, Tuguegarao City.

The ceremony was graced with the presence of Hon. Governor Manuel M. Mamba, along with the Provincial Government of Cagayan department heads, representatives from various national and local government agencies, and members of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Cagayan spearheaded by Ms. Salvacion A. Mangoma, Statistical Specialist II on behalf of Ms. Cristeta M. Retoma, Officer-in-Charge.

The event served as a moment of reflection and tribute to the countless heroes who valiantly fought for the country’s freedom. In his message, Gov. Mamba emphasized the importance of unity and dedication to nation-building, calling on every Filipino to continue honoring the legacy of our forefathers. "On this day, we remember not just the declaration of our independence, but also the bravery and sacrifices of those who came before us. May our unity and love for our motherland continue to guide us forward," 

The event not only honored the past but also inspired a renewed commitment to building a better and more united future. As Cagayanos move forward, the spirit of independence continues to live on in every act of service and patriotism.
