The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Statistical Office has partnered with the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office (MCRO) of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kasibu for the whole month of February to assist the smooth and efficient registration process for National ID system of the residents in the municipality. This collaboration aims to bring the National ID closer to residents and ensure that no one is left behind in this program.
As part of the 35th Civil Registration Month, the PSA and MCRO strengthened its ongoing effort to encourage wider participation in the National ID registration process, which is essential for creating an inclusive identification system for all Filipinos. The National ID is designed to streamline government services, improve accessibility, and create a more efficient and transparent delivery of services for the people.
With the help of MCRO Kasibu, PSA expanded its mobile registration efforts, especially for individuals who may have difficulty traveling to PSO Nueva Vizcaya’s Fixed Registration Center due to distance or mobility constraints. MCRO Kasibu has been instrumental in identifying and reaching out to community members who would benefit from assistance in registering for the National ID.
Kasibu, known for its scenic views and rich heritage, is one of the key municipalities in Nueva Vizcaya where residents have easier access to the National ID registration process. This initiative aligns with the PSA's goal of providing an inclusive identification system for all despite the circumstances of the residents - specifically those in far-flung areas, which will not only serve as proof of identity but also enable easier access to various public services and social benefits program.
Through this partnership, 945 residents of Kasibu successfully completed their National ID registration. Among these, 852 were aged 5 years old and older while the remaining 93 were all children below 5 yuears old. PSO Nueva Vizcaya’s National ID registration personnel were deployed to facilitate the registration. MCRO played a key role in coordinating the schedule and locations, actively informing residents about the areas and dates that would be visited for the registration. This collaboration made the registration process more accessible and convenient for the local community.

The collaboration between PSO Nueva Vizcaya and MCRO Kasibu proved to be efficient in the registration process of the residents of Kasibu. By working together, the LGU and the PSO were able to ensure that more residents were included in the National ID system. This partnership significantly contributed to the realization of the goal to provide an inclusive identification system.
In conclusion, the partnership between PSO and MCRO Kasibu emphasized the importance of collaboration with local government agencies. This initiative not only made it easier for residents to complete their registration but also to allow them to take advantage of the benefits the National ID offers. #NationalIDPH
