BASCO, BATANES. To promote comprehensive registration and provide other services of the National ID System for all residents of Batanes, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batanes continues its mobile activities, including home visits.

The National ID Registration Team recently conducted mobile activities in Mahatao and the island municipality of Itbayat. These initiatives ensure that National ID services are accessible to all residents of Batanes, particularly those who are unable to visit the National ID Fixed Registration Center located in the capital, Basco.

As of June 15, 2025, a total of 18,773 individuals had registered for the National ID System in the province. This comprised 99.69% of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing of Batanes.
