SSS Fernandez poses with job seekers hired on the spot; PhilSys team conducts on-site National ID Registration during the 2025 Ginnamuluan Festival Job Fair

In celebration of the 2025 Ginnamuluan Festival and 56th Araw ng Cabarroguis, the Provincial Statistical Office of Quirino actively participated in the Job Fair organized by the Municipal Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Cabarroguis in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Quirino held at the LDRRMO Function Hall, Cabarroguis, Quirino on 20 June 2025.

PSO Quirino, through Supervising Statistical Specialist Karen T. Fernandez, conducted interviews with twelve (12) job seekers. Out of these, five (5) applicants were successfully hired on the spot, providing them with immediate employment opportunities.

These newly hired personnel will serve as Statistical Researchers for the upcoming July 2025 round of the Labor Force Survey (LFS) and the Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES), supporting PSA’s data collection efforts critical to national planning and policy-making.

Further extending its commitment to bringing government services closer to the people, PSO Quirino also deployed its Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) team to facilitate on-site National ID registration. The team assisted jobseekers with the issuance of National ID in paper and updating of demographic information.

This collaborative effort underscores PSO Quirino’s continuous support for local employment initiatives while enhancing public access to essential services. PSA Quirino extends its appreciation to the LGU Cabarroguis and PESO for the opportunity to serve the community and contribute meaningfully to local development efforts.
