29 May 2025 – CITY OF ILAGAN. As part of its ongoing efforts to boost birth registration under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), the Philippine Statistics Authority–Isabela (PSA-Isabela), in coordination with Cordon Municipal Civil Registrar Ms. Gina Pimentel, awarded free birth certificates printed on security paper to the eight (8) Isidro siblings from Barangay Laurel, Cordon, Isabela.
During the awarding ceremony, Mr. Julius M. Emperador, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA-Isabela, encouraged the public to actively participate in the BRAP initiative. Additionally, Barangay Captain Joseph Harold Pimentel expressed his appreciation to PSA-Isabela and the Office of the Municipal Civil Registrar for their persistent efforts that led to the successful registration of the Isidro siblings.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that every Filipino has access to a legal identity through timely and accessible civil registration services. The issuance of official birth certificates will enable the Isidro siblings to fully exercise their rights and gain access to essential services such as education, healthcare, and government assistance.
The event stands as a testament to PSA and Local Civil Registry Offices’ unwavering dedication to upholding every Filipino’s right to legal identity and proper documentation.
