PSA-Cagayan Presents the Preliminary 2024 CBMS Results to Officials of Pamplona, Cagayan

04 July 2025 – Pamplona, Cagayan. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has successfully presented the preliminary results of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) to its third municipality in the province—Pamplona, Cagayan
Held at the Pamplona Municipal Hall, the presentation was attended by the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Digna Puzon-Antonio, along with key department heads of the Local Government Unit (LGU). The attendees actively participated and paid close attention to the findings, recognizing the importance of data-driven governance and local development planning.
The CBMS aims to provide comprehensive and disaggregated data at the local level to aid in evidence-based policymaking and targeted program implementation.
Representing the Officer-in-Charge of PSA Cagayan, Cristeta M. Retoma, Sheryll Elaine S. Rigua-Estrella, Senior Statistical Specialist and Provincial CBMS Focal Person, emphasized during her presentation how the 2024 data can support the LGU in identifying priority areas for intervention and in tracking progress toward development goals.
Pamplona marks the third municipality in the province to receive its CBMS preliminary report, reflecting PSA’s ongoing commitment to ensure timely and relevant statistical information reaches communities across the country.
The PSA extended its gratitude to LGU Pamplona for its continued cooperation and support in the nationwide rollout of the CBMS.
