Regional Statistics Committee Region 2 members convene at the Pamegafanan Hall of NEDA RO2, and virtually through Zoom for its 4th Quarter Business Meeting.

10 December 2024 – TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN. The Regional Statistics Committee Region 2 (RSC2) gathered at Pamegafanan Hall of the National Economic and Development Authority – Regional Office 2 (NEDA-RO2), Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, for its 4th Quarter Business Meeting, where significant achievements were acknowledged and ongoing projects and plans were discussed to enhance the region's statistical system.

The meeting was presided over by RSC2 Chairperson and NEDA RO2 Regional Director Dir. Dionisio C. Ledres, Jr. In his opening address, Director Ledres highlighted the significant milestone for RSC2, which was awarded the Best RSC Award for 2024 throughout the country. He commended the members for their efforts and stressed the importance of upholding high performance standards to sustain the region’s excellence in statistical development.

A total of 30 representatives out of 36 RSC members participated in the meeting, 15 attending online and 15 onsite. The meeting’s agenda covered updates on key statistical projects, including PSA activities for the First Quarter of 2025, Trainings and Statistical Capacity Building Programs, Updates on Philippine Identification System, Status of Statistical Development Program implementation in Cagayan Valley, and the approval of upcoming activities and plans for the following year, along with other initiatives aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of government-produced statistics across the region. 

The event concluded with the members reaching a consensus on the agenda items discussed.
