06 October 2023, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The Regional Statistics Committee Region 2 (RSC2) bagged the 2nd Best RSC Award for 2023 in the recently concluded 8th RSC Summit, held on 06 October 2023 at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila.

The award is a recognition of the committee’s outstanding commitment and exemplary dedication in serving as a policymaking body on regional statistical matters and a forum for resolving statistical issues at the local level. The period covered for the award is from the 3rd quarter of 2022 to the 2nd quarter of 2023.

Along with RSC2, the following RSC in the country also received an award:

1st Best RSC Award:    RSC CALABARZON
3rd Best RSC Award:    RSC Region VIII
4th Best RSC Award:    RSC CARAGA
5th Best RSC Award:    RSC CAR
Breakthrough RSC:    RSC BARMM

The RSC Summit is an annual event that recognizes the vital role of RSC as the highest policymaking body on statistical issues at the local level.
