CSS Cherry Grace D. Agustin  receives the plaque of commendation during the Regional Management Committee Meeting                                                  

CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO –The Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Quirino achieved a significant milestone as the first province to successfully complete the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) Household Profile Questionnaire Data Processing. In recognition of this outstanding accomplishment, PSO Quirino was awarded a Plaque of Commendation during the Regional Management Committee (RMC) Meeting held in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on March 27, 2025.
 

The Regional Statistical Services Office II (RSSO II) recognized PSO Quirino’s dedication, efficiency, and teamwork, which played a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely data processing. The commendation highlights the commitment of the province’s hired data processors and personnel in delivering high-quality statistical data essential for policymaking and development planning.
 

Engr. Cherry Grace Agustin, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSO Quirino, expressed her gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in completing the data processing ahead of schedule. “This achievement underscores the hard work and perseverance of our team in ensuring that quality statistics are delivered promptly to support national and local governance,” CSS Agustin said.
 

The 2024 POPCEN-CBMS is a vital statistical undertaking that provides updated demographic and socio-economic data for evidence-based policymaking and resource allocation at both the national and local levels. The successful completion of the data processing phase in Quirino sets a benchmark for other provinces to follow.
