16 February 2024 - TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN. As part of the 34th Civil Registration Month (CRM) Celebration, the Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office II (PSA-RSSO II) conducted an information drive to the personnel of Police Regional Office 2 last 16 February 2024 at the PRO2 Grandstand, Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.  

The activity aims to heighten awareness and understanding among the personnel of the PRO2 regarding the significance and processes involved in civil registration. It also aims to foster a deeper appreciation on the importance of accurate and timely registration of vital events such as births, marriages, and deaths.

Ms. Maria Corazon H. Guzman, Statistical Specialist II, discussed the guidelines on the Issuance of Civil Registry Documents (CRDs)/Certifications including Authentication. She emphasized the importance of the CRDs in establishing one's identity and legal status.

Furthermore, Ms. Ma. Iseendra N. Miguel, Registration Officer III, conducted an orientation and demonstration of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Check which is an online verification system developed for PhilSys relying parties and the public to authenticate a PhilID and ePhilID holder's identification easier and faster.
