Cabarroguis, Quirino – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Quirino Provincial Office actively participated in the 123rd Labor Day Celebration held at the Capitol Gymnasium, San Marcos, Cabarroguis, Quirino. This year’s celebration carried the theme: "Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng Mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas."
In line with its commitment to make government services more accessible, PSA Quirino brought its National ID services directly to the event. The services offered included on-site registration for the National Identification System, issuance of National ID in paper form, and updating of demographic information. This initiative provided an opportunity for the attendees to register for the National ID which is essential for employment, financial transactions and availment of social protections programs.
The PSA team also conducted an Information Education Campaign (IEC) through the distribution of flyers that contained the step-by-step guide on how to download the Digital National ID.Moreover, Administrative Officer I Jennifer B. Gamet conducted interview for the applicants of the Government Internship Program (GIP) who will be selected and deployed immediately at the PSA Quirino Provincial Office to support various statistical and administrative operations.
PSA Quirino’s participation in the Labor Day event was part of its broader strategy to intensify National ID registration efforts and bring its services closer to the people, especially in public gatherings and community events.
