PSA National ID Team during the Registration and Authentication of DSWD 4Ps beneficiaries at Tumauini, Isabela
 

15 February 2025 – TUMAUINI, ISABELA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Isabela Provincial Statistical Office in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) successfully conducted National ID registration and authentication services for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries of Tumauini Isabela from 05-14 February 2025.

The schedule aligned with their Family Development Session (FDS) in various clustered location. This initiative seeks to address the challenges faced by the DSWD program beneficiaries, particularly those with limited access to designated registration centers, by bringing the National ID services closer to the community, it ensures inclusivity and convenience to the beneficiaries in complying with program requirements.

The beneficiaries undergone verification of their National ID in any of the three (3) formats through biometric authentication using National ID Authentication Kit to confirm their identity. The registration team also catered members of the program aged 0 to 4 years old who had not yet been registered to National ID system, along with other services such as updating of demographic information, issuance of National ID in paper form, assistance in downloading Digital National ID, retrieval of lost Transaction Reference Number (TRN), and filing request for replacement of peeled-off photo in National ID Card.

Over the course of nine days, PSA registered a total of 940 individuals. 2,489 beneficiaries where authenticated with identity ”Match” and 502 National ID in paper form were issued.

The activity aims to provide secure and verified identification to a larger group of beneficiaries belonging to government social protection program beyond 4Ps. The initiative will continue in other LGUs, following the DSWD’s FDS schedule, to ensure complete National ID registration and authentication.
