Maddela, Quirino –The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Quirino Provincial Office successfully conducted a National ID registration activity during the National Women’s Month Celebration held at the Maddela Gymnasium on March 7, 2025. This significant initiative was carried out in close collaboration with the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development- Maddela, further strengthening efforts to provide accessible and efficient government services to women in the community.

A total of 87 individuals successfully registered to the National ID System, reinforcing the PSA’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that all citizens, especially women, have access to valid and reliable identification. The National ID serves as a fundamental tool in streamlining government services, improving access to financial institutions, and reducing bureaucratic barriers. It facilitates various government and private transactions, empowering women to fully participate in socio-economic activities, secure employment opportunities, and avail themselves of essential services with greater ease and efficiency.

Aside from the National ID registration, the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of Maddela headed by Municipal Civil Registrar Godofredo Sabug also conducted a Mobile Civil Registration, allowing attendees to request PSA copies of their civil registry documents free of service charge and address queries related to corrections, legitimation, and delayed registration of births.

The PSA Quirino extends its deepest gratitude to the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development headed by MSWDO Mary Rose S. Valiente for the invitation and strong partnership, recognizing the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting inclusive and gender-responsive programs.

The PSA remains steadfast in its mission to bring its services closer to the people and encourages those who have yet to register to take advantage of upcoming registration activities. Through continued partnerships and outreach initiatives, the PSA aims to reach more individuals, ensuring that every citizen benefits from the convenience, security, and inclusivity provided by the National ID system.
