02 May 2025 – CABAGAN, ISABELA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Isabela Provincial Statistical Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Cabagan, successfully conducted National ID registration and other related services in Riverside Barangay on April 22–23, 2025.
The mobile activity was held at the Barangay Hall of Tallag, one of the riverside barangays in Cabagan, serving residents from five other barangays—San Juan, San Antonio, San Bernardo, Aggub, and Saui. This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by residents of six barangays in Cabagan, particularly those with limited access to transportation. By bringing National ID services closer to the community, promoting inclusivity and convenience.
Over the two-day schedule, a total of 216 individuals availed various services offered. These included 165 National ID registrations—24 of whom were children aged four years old and below, 35 updates to existing records, four (4) issuance of the National ID in paper form, two (2) assistance in downloading the Digital National ID, and two (2) requests for replacement of National ID cards.
PSA Isabela is strengthening its efforts to broaden the coverage of National ID services, aiming to ensure accessibility for all sectors of society, particularly those living in remote communities.
