BASCO, BATANES. PSA Batanes registered 18,292 individuals to the National ID system as of 17 February 2025, reaching 100.03% accomplishment of the total target based on the 2023 projected population of the province.

The National ID aims to improve the lives of all citizens and resident aliens by making access, delivery, and administration of government and private sector services easier, broader, cheaper, faster, more secure, and more responsive to people’s right to privacy, confidentiality, and other basic rights are always upheld and protected.

This milestone not only highlights the dedication of the local community in embracing the National ID initiative, but it also signifies a progressive step towards enhancing identity verification and access to government services in the province.
