National ID Registration

In December 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Statistical Office (PSO-NV) National ID System Team successfully registered a total of 1,734 individuals to the National ID System, achieving 74.10 percent of its target output of 2,340 individuals. This registration effort was made possible through various channels.

Of the 1,734 registered individuals, 1,151 were registered through mobile registrations conducted in barangays, 216 individuals registered at the Fixed Registration Center, 80 individuals participated in the National ID on-wheels program, 103 were registered through school-based initiatives, 69 were enrolled through Child Development Center (CDC)-based registrations, and 115 individuals were registered through the PSO’s participation in local events organized by different government agencies.

The PSO’s mobile registration efforts, particularly in coordination with local government units at the barangay level, played a crucial role in bringing National ID services directly to communities. This initiative not only provided greater accessibility to the National ID registration process but also reinforced the office’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that individuals from even the most remote or far-flung areas could participate in the program. By bringing registration services closer to the people, the PSO minimized barriers such as distance and lack of resources to travel to registration centers, enabling more individuals to register who might otherwise have faced challenges. Additionally, the initiative emphasized the essential role of collaborations with various organizations and agencies in reaching unregistered individuals. These partnerships were key in addressing the needs of hard-to-reach populations across the province, ensuring a broader and widespread registration process. The collective efforts of the PSO and its partners have thus contributed significantly to increasing the registration rate and improving the reach of the National ID System throughout the province.

As of 31 December 2024, a total of 416,728 individuals in Nueva Vizcaya had successfully registered for the National ID System, marking significant progress in the provincial registration operation.

Registration of children below 5 years old

In December 2024, the registration team successfully enrolled 201 children under five years old into the National ID System. A significant portion of these registrations took place during mobile registration events held at barangays and CDCs across the province. These targeted efforts aimed to bring National ID services directly to the communities, offering greater convenience to parents and guardians.

To support parents and guardians who have yet to receive their National ID cards or paper form, the team provided assistance in generating Digital National IDs for those who had previously completed the registration process. The National ID Card number of the accompanying parent or guardian is needed in the registration process of children below 5 years old.

As of 31 December 2024, the province had successfully registered a total of 5,035 children aged 0-4 years into the National ID System. This achievement highlights the commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that even the youngest citizens of the society are included in this national program.
