This achievement more than doubles the monthly target of 660 individuals, highlighting the team's dedication and effectiveness in implementing the National ID registration process. This milestone underscores the agency's commitment to providing accessible and efficient services to the public, ensuring a higher number of individuals benefit from the National ID system.

The National ID registration in January 2025 catered individuals from various age groups, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility through multiple registration initiaives. This approach allowed everyone to benefit from the National ID system, regardless of age. Of the 1,373 individuals registered during the month, a majority—1,117 registrants—were aged five years and above, while 256 were children below five years old. The significant number of younger registrants demonstrates the proactive effort to include even the youngest members of the community in the National ID system, which will serve as a foundational identity document for their future transactions. By utilizing various registration initiatives, the registration team made it more convenient for families and individuals to complete the process, reinforcing the commitment to an efficient and comprehensive implementation of the National ID System program.

Also, a total of 484 individuals registered in person at the Fixed Registration Center (FRC), while 571 took advantage of mobile registrations conducted in various barangays. Additionally, 235 individuals were registered through school-based mobile registrations, 25 children were enrolled via the Rehistro Bulilit program at Child Development Centers (CDC), and 23 individuals registered through mobile registrations at caravans participated by the PSO organized by local agencies. Institutional registrations also played a role in the effort, with 35 individuals registered through this method. These diverse registration initiatives highlight the PSO’s commitment to making the National ID system accessible to all sectors of the community.

Registration of children aged 0-4

For January, the registration team successfully registered 246 children under the age of five into the National ID System. A significant portion of these registrations occurred during mobile registrations held at Child Development Centers (CDC) and mobile registrations to the barangays across the province.

To facilitate the registration process, the team actively encouraged and assisted parents who have not registered to the National ID System yet to complete their registration first. Parents must be registered to the National ID System before registering their children as the National ID Card number is crucial in the registration process of children below 5 years old. For parents and guardians who have registered already but do not have their National ID yet, the registration team encourages these individuals to request for a copy of their national ID in paper form or generate their Digital National ID.

Once the child is registered to the National ID System, his/her National ID Number is linked to the parent’s or guardian’s record. This link remains in place until the child turns five, at which point they will need to undergo an updating process.
