National ID Registration
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Statistical Office National ID System Team registered a total of 5, 753 individuals to the National ID System for the last quarter of the year 2024. This achievement represents 79.90 percent of the target output of 7,200 for this quarter. This achievement reflects the team's dedication to expanding access to the National ID program for the remaining unregistered Filipinos.
Of the 5, 753 registered individuals, 3, 020 individuals registered through mobile registrations in barangays, 771 were registered at the Fixed Registration Center, 786 registered through the PhilSys-on-wheels program, 300 thru school-based registrations, 389 on Child Development Center (CDC)-based registrations, 146 during the conduct of Rehistro Bulilit campaign, 283 during participation of the PSO to caravans and 58 on institutional registrations. These efforts reflect the PSO’s inclusive approach, making registration more convenient and reaching a diverse range of people.
The PSO continued to extend its mobile registration services through coordination with local local government units, private institutions, schools and Child Development Centers (CDC). This testifies the PSO’s initiative in making all National ID services accessible for residents, even those who are located in far-flung areas. By bringing these services directly to the communities, this reinforces the office’s commitment to inclusivity but also highlighted the importance of collaboration with various organizations or agencies in reaching unregistered individuals in different settings.
Such initiatives by the PSO reflects its commitment to promoting the benefits of the National ID system and ensuring that every Filipino, regardless of their location, socio-economic status or individual circumstances, has the opportunity to participate in this program. By actively engaging with communities, particularly those in remote areas, the PSO demonstrates its dedication to inclusivity and accessibility. These efforts not only aim to raise awareness about the National ID system but also address registration barriers, specifically the distance to registration centers wherein most mobile registrations conducted are much accessible for the people.
The PSO also demonstrated its active engagement in community activities by participating in a variety of events throughout the month. These includes local festivities such as fiestas – 164th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of Solano, Founding Anniversary of Fiesta of Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, fiesta of Barangay Don Tomas Maddela, Bayombong and also outreach programs organized by local United Methodist Church within the province. The PSO also participated to events organized by LGUs and other agencies such as Project Teen of the LGU Ambaguio, the celebration of the National Childrens’ Month by LGU Aritao and the Job Fair for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) by Philippine Employment Services Office (PESO) Nueva Vizcaya and the Department of Migrant Workers. The PSO registered 283 individuals for the 4th quarter through participation to events.
As of 31 December 2024, a total of 416, 728 individuals had been registered in the province.
Registration of children aged 0-4
For the fourth quarter of 2024, the registration team successfully registered 982 children under the age of five into the National ID System. A significant portion of these registrations occurred during mobile registrations held at Child Development Centers (CDC) across the province. These targeted registrations aimed to bring National ID registration services closer to the children, ensuring convenience for both the child and their parents and/or guardians.
To facilitate the registration process, the team actively encouraged and assisted parents or guardians who had not yet secured their National ID cards to generate their Digital National IDs. This step is essential as the PhilSys Card Number (PCN) of the parent or guardian is a prerequisite for registering children under five years old.
Once registered, each child’s National ID Number is linked to their parent’s or guardian’s record. This link remains in place until the child turns five, at which point they will need to undergo an updating process.

As of 31 December 2024, the province has registered a total of 5, 035 children aged 0-4 years to the National ID System. This accomplishment highlights the focus on inclusivity and its commitment to ensuring that even the young members of society are part of this national program.
