10 June 2025 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. The Office of the City Civil Registry – Ilagan, led by Officer-in-Charge Atty. Syra Miguel-Miranda, in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Isabela, successfully conducted an Information Dissemination and Workshop Training on the Philippine Civil Registry Information System (PhilCRIS) and the procedures governing the preparation and registration of civil registry documents on 10 June 2025 at City Hall, San Vicente, City of Ilagan, Isabela.
Mr. Jomar P. Geronimo, Registration Officer II of PSA-Isabela, served as the resource speaker and facilitated the orientation for records personnel from various hospitals across the city. The training was designed to enhance the participants’ competencies in managing civil registry documents in alignment with the latest policies and procedural updates.
A key feature of the activity was the installation of the PhilCRIS at City Health Office (CHO) I, located at the CHO Building, City Hall Complex, Rizal Street, San Vicente, City of Ilagan. PhilCRIS is an essential tool that streamlines the civil registration process, improves data management, and increases the efficiency and accuracy in recording vital events such as births, deaths, and marriages.
This collaborative initiative represents a significant step in the city’s ongoing efforts to modernize civil registration services. By adopting digital solutions and conducting capacity-building activities, the City Civil Registry – Ilagan and PSA Isabela reaffirm their commitment to providing timely, accurate, and accessible civil registration services to the people of City of Ilagan.
