28 May 2025 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. The Isabela Provincial Statistics Committee (IPSC) successfully conducted its 16th Regular Business Meeting (2nd quarter of 2025) on 28 May 2025 (Wednesday), at the Blue Conference Room, Provincial Capitol, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela.
Presided over by Mr. Julius M. Emperador, IPSC Vice Chairperson and Chief Statistical Specialist of Philippine Statistics Authority – Isabela Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-Isabela), together with Ms. Lalaine C. Delmendo, Assistant Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator of PPDO-Isabela, the meeting gathered representatives from national government agencies, provincial offices, academe, and private sector in the statistical community.
Highlights of the meeting included the presentation and discussion on the following:
1) 2025 Regional Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Convention and Regional Data Festival (RDaFest) in September 2025;
2) 36th National Statistics Month (NSM ) Celebration and 16th National Convention on Statistics in October 2025;
3) Conduct of 2024 Household Survey on Domestic Visitors (HSDV);
4) Conduct of the July 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) Visit 1;
5) Updates on 2024 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) and 2024 Survey on Information and Communications Technology (SICT);
6) Progress on the 2024 PopCen-CBMS implementation;
7) Isabela Tourism Situationer and Statistics; and
8) Physical Report of Operations (BAR 1) of Department of Education – Schools Division Office (DepEd-SDO) Cauayan City; and Key Features on the Strengthened Senior High School Program of the DepEd-SDO Isabela.
The IPSC reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the use of statistics in evidence-based decision-making and enhancing local statistical capacities. The committee also endorsed resolutions to strengthen inter-agency coordination in data sharing and to support ongoing statistical surveys and activities in the province.
The IPSC continues to serve as a vital platform for statistical coordination, fostering collaboration among stakeholders toward the generation of quality statistics for inclusive development in the Province of Isabela.
