TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) commended its field office, the Regional Statistical Services Region II (RSSO II), for achieving the milestone of being the first region to successfully complete the Housing Profile Questionnaire (HPQ) Data Processing of the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS). This accomplishment reflects the dedicated efforts of hired data and manual processors across the region.
The 2024 POPCEN-CBMS will enable the provincial and municipal governments to pinpoint necessary interventions and identify areas requiring assistance. Furthermore, policymakers can allocate resources more effectively, prioritize development initiatives, and address pressing concerns such as poverty alleviation, healthcare accessibility, education, and infrastructure improvements. This data-driven approach ensures that government programs are responsive to the actual needs of communities, leading to more sustainable and inclusive development.
PSA extends its gratitude to all the processors, enumerators, supervisors, and community members who contributed to the success of this census. With accurate and reliable data, the government can implement well-informed policies and programs that truly address the needs of the people.
