PSA National ID Team during the Registration and Authentication of DSWD 4Ps beneficiaries at Burgos, Isabela
26 February 2025 – TUMAUINI, ISABELA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Isabela Provincial Statistical Office in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) successfully completed National ID registration and authentication services for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Burgos, Isabela from 17-25 February 2025.
Strategic clustering of venues made it convenient for 4Ps beneficiaries to attend their scheduled sessions. The organized co-location of Family Development Session (FDS) activities helped beneficiaries access National ID services more easily.
Beneficiaries' National IDs were authenticated through biometric validation. Those who had not yet registered, including children below five (5) years old, were also enrolled. The biometrics of parents were linked to their child's National ID Card Number, which will be updated once the child turned five (5).
Beneficiaries who had not yet received their National ID card or paper form were taught how to access and download the Digital National ID.
Updating services were also available, allowing beneficiaries to correct erroneous entries in their National ID. They were required to bring supporting documentation that validates the demographic data to be updated. Other services offered included the issuance of National IDs in paper form, retrieval of lost Transaction Reference Numbers (TRN), and filing of requests for the replacement of peeled-off photos on National ID cards.
Residents of Burgos shared positive testimonials on the acceptance of the National ID in all formats, noting its seamless use in both private and government transactions.
PSA registered a total of 251 individuals, 46 of whom are 0-4 years old. 287 beneficiaries where authenticated with identity ”Match” and 88 National ID in Paper form were issued.
The Philippine Statistics Authority - Isabela Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-IPSO) remains steadfast in collaborating with other LGUs to bring National ID services closer to Isabeleños.
