15 April 2025, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cagayan Provincial Statistical Office, led by Supervising Statistical Specialist and Officer-In-Charge (OIC) Cristeta M. Retoma, held a culminating activity to mark the completion of the internship program for students from three academic institutions in the province. The event served as both a celebration and recognition of the interns' valuable contributions during their training.

A total of 11 On-the-job trainees were recognized during the culminating activity; among them were four students from the Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management program at Saint Anthony’s College in Santa Ana, Cagayan; five Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students from the University of Cagayan Valley in Tuguegarao City; and two Bachelor of Science in Economics students from Cagayan State University – Carig Campus.

During the activity, the interns shared insights and reflections on their experiences, highlighting the skills they developed and the lessons they acquired. PSA Personnel gave messages of encouragement and gratitude, recognizing the interns’ enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to learn. In reply, they expressed their appreciation for choosing the office as their training venue.

This culminating activity reflects PSA Cagayan’s commitment not only to delivering quality statistical services but also to nurturing the next generation of professionals.
