17 October 2024 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Isabela, in partnership with the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) – Isabela, successfully held the 1st PSA Quiz Bee Provincial Elimination – Isabela on 16 October 2024 (Wednesday) at Amphitheatre, Provincial Capitol, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

Ms. Ma. Noevie M. Saldo, Administrative Aide III of PPDO, emerged as Provincial Champion over 13 other participants. Meanwhile, Ms. Joanne G. Maglaqui, Engineer II, and Ms. Rhodora D. Santos, MSN, Population Program Officer IV, both from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), ranked second and third, respectively. The provincial champion will join to the PSA Quiz Bee Regional Championship.

The quiz bee had three rounds, in which the last round served as the championship part. The top three (3) winners received a certificate of recognition, a medal, and a cash prize, while a certificate of participation was given to the other contestants.

Participants to the event are member-representatives of the Isabela Provincial Statistics Committee (IPSC). The event served as platform to familiarize the participants with the principles, processes, regulations, and policy directives of PSA's programs and services, and is conducted in line with the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration.
