26 February 2025 – CABAGAN, ISABELA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Isabela Provincial Statistical Office (IPSO) successfully conducted National ID registration at the Gymnasium, Centro, Cabagan, Isabela, on February 26, 2025, as part of the 1st Congressional District Office (Isabela) Job Fair Service Caravan.
In partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Region II, PSA-Isabela provided mobile National ID services to applicants seeking local and international employment.
The mobile activity offered various services, including registration for individuals from birth onwards, issuance of National IDs in paper form, retrieval of lost Transaction Reference Numbers (TRN), requests for the replacement of peeled-off National ID cards, assistance in accessing the digital National ID, and tracking of National ID status.
The National ID, in any format, serves as a valid and sufficient proof of identity and age, subject to authentication. It is recognized as an official government-issued identification document for transactions in both the public and private sectors.
Throughout the activity, PSA registered 42 individuals for the National ID, 11 of whom were below five (5) years old, and issued three (3) National IDs in paper form. The Digital National ID was also offered to those unable to download their ePhilID, which is honored and accepted by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for passport applications.
The PSA-IPSO aims to provide a seamless, secure, and universally accepted identification system for every Isabeleño, reinforcing the country’s drive toward digital transformation and inclusive development.
