PSA-Isabela personnel together with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) – Ilagan personnel during the 35th NSM Tree Planting Activity.

11 October 2024 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. As part of the 35th NSM celebration, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Isabela, in coordination with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) – Ilagan, conducted a Tree Planting Activity on 11 October 2024 (Friday), at Ilagan Sanctuary, Santa Victoria, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

The activity aims to raise awareness about the importance of statistics in environmental planning and management, while also contributing to the restoration of local ecosystems.

While the 35th NSM accentuates the role of  technology in advancing data and statistics, PSA – Isabela also recognizes its responsibility towards addressing pressing environmental challenges and supporting greening programs for a sustainable development.

Personnel from CENRO- Ilagan, headed by Mr. Arvin Billy A. Perez, Officer-in-Charge, assisted the participants and planted a total of 100 Narra seedlings.
