31 January 2025 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. On January 23-24, 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority-Isabela successfully conducted the first Civil Registration Services Roll-out during the Bambanti Festival, bringing essential registration and identification services closer to the public.

 

Leading the initiative were Ms. Daisy Villar, Registration Officer IV, and Ms. Kristal Jane Tagacay, Administrative Aide VI, from the PSA Regional Office, with the support of CSS Julius M. Emperador, along with Mr. Jose Marie John Geronimo, Registration Officer II, and Ms. Joselita F. Geronimo, Registration Officer I. Their coordination and teamwork ensured the efficient delivery of services to festival-goers. Throughout the roll-out, 140 birth certificates, 27 marriage certificates, and 19 certificates of no marriage were issued.

 

Meanwhile, the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) provided five days of service, assisting with national ID registration and related services. During the event, the team successfully registered 34 individuals for the national ID and issued 23 national identifications in paper form.

 

Additionally, the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) awarded birth certificates in security paper to beneficiaries from Calamagui 1st, City of Ilagan, ensuring access to official civil registry documents.

 

This initiative highlights the PSA’s commitment to making civil registration and identification services more accessible, especially during community events like Bambanti, where many residents can benefit from on-site assistance.
