31 January 2025 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Isabela Provincial Statistical Office successfully conducted the 2025 Refresher Training for National ID Frontline Services on January 15-16, 2025, via Google Meet. The two-day training was attended by 22 field personnel, consisting of 11 Registration Kit Operators (RKO) and 11 Registration Assistants (RA), for the first quarter of the year.
In his opening message, Julius M. Emperador, Chief Statistical Specialist, expressed his gratitude and emphasized the team's dedication and commitment to providing essential services to the community. He also highlighted areas for improvement and suggested key strategies to increase registration output, such as visiting day care centers, schools, barangays, and hospitals with high numbers of births.
Mr. Jason Patrick Jimenez, Accountant I, served as the resource person and discussed the contract, wages, and other administrative matters.
Ms. Romuallina B. Tumolva, Information Systems Analyst I, covered the workload, trackers, and reports for the first quarter of National ID services in the province, as well as the policies and guidelines for issuing National IDs in paper form, updating demographic information, and conducting technical sessions on the new version of the Registration Client System.
Additionally, Mr. Romeo Jr. L. Villanueva, Information Officer I, provided an overview of the National ID rebranding and updated standard spiels for public concerns. He also discussed registration quality issues and solutions identified through the Manual Verification System (MVS) and the use of National ID authentication, eVerify, and National ID Check, with hands-on exercises. Ms. Abegail M. Columbano, Registration Officer II, discussed the registration process for children below five years old and the generation of digital National IDs.
In her closing remarks, Ms. Columbano expressed her gratitude to the National ID Team for their efforts in achieving last year’s targets. She encouraged everyone to remain committed and implement the suggested strategies to increase the number of Filipinos registered in the National ID System.
