03 October 2024 – CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA. In celebration of the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Isabela capacitated its employees through a “Re-Echo on Mastering Data Management: A Guide to Google Sheets and MS Excel; and Data Visualization” on 03 October 2024, Thursday, at PSA Isabela, LSP Bldg. National Highway, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela.
In line with the 35th NSM theme, “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation,” the training aimed to orient and capacitate PSA-Isabela employees to enhance their proficiency on data management, and data visualization to effectively understand and communicate statistical information at the local level.
In his opening message, Mr. Jayson Patrick A. Jimenez, CPA, Accountant I, warmly welcomed the participants and expressed his sincere gratitude to the resource speakers for sharing their time and expertise. In addition, he hopes that the Statistical Capacity Building (SCB) program will be a continuous activity in order to further strengthen the knowledge and skills of the employees.

Acupido, Statistical Analyst, both from PSA-Isabela, who served as resource spekaers, re-echoed Data Management and Data Visualization, respectively, which they participated from the complimentary trainings of Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI).
To conclude the day’s activity, Ms. Thelma G. Castillo, Statistical Specialist II, expressed her sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the officials, resource speakers, and participants for their active support and participation to the activity and the 35th NSM.
