02 September 2023 – Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. In its effort to hype conduct of the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (2022 CAF), the Philippine Statistics Authority- Regional Statistical Services Office II (PSA-RSSO II) conducted a caravan on September 2, 2023.

Dubbed as “2022 CAFravan”, the activity started at Isabela Provincial Capitol, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela, traversing four major municipalities of Isabela and two municipalities of Cagayan along Maharlika Highway going to SM City at Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. 

The 2022 CAFravan was primarily organized as a prelude activity to the 2022 CAF Press Launch which was held on the same day at the destination point of the caravan. Both activity aimed to broadcast the importance and objectives of the census to the attention of the general public and sought public support and cooperation for the upcoming enumeration, which shall formally begin on 04 September 2023. 

Personnel from the regional and provincial offices of PSA RSSO II, led by Mr. Ernesto M. de Peralta, Jr., Officer-in-Charge of the Statistical Operations and Coordination Division (SOCD) participated in the caravan showcasing a CAF parade float in an elf truck courtesy of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 02 (DA RFO 02). Joining the PSA group were 14 motorbike riders who contributed to a more loudly movement of the pack.

Meanwhile, the City Public Order and Safety Management Officers (CPOSMO) from the City of Ilagan, and Tuguegarao City Traffic Management Group (TCTMG) assisted in the traffic management for the orderly and saftey travel of the 2022 CAFravan group.
